A Thank You Note By Blue Haley

I said I was gonna make some movies this year and I meant it. I started off being closed off because it was a lot going on internally and it was made worse when my eczema had flared up and got worse over time. But I was trying to be optimistic so I was doing my thing still. I did another DJ Mix and still promoted my last one. As soon as March hit and my mom pointed out that I haven’t been making the moves I said I was going to make I realized that I’m doing the same thing I did last year. I was talking but there was no movement behind it. So by the time spring came I made it my goal to lock in mentally, physically, and creatively. I wish to build myself and my empire in the best way possible by putting in the work and utilizing my resources. I suffered from anxiety for a long time and I desired to move above it and break the hold. I performed one of my original songs for the very first time (granted it was karaoke but I was the only one truly putting more passion onto the “stage”) I feel this is a major step up from before when I was nervous about performing but also enamored by it. The energy people put in, effortlessly memorizing their lyrics and moving above any faults with grace and improvisation. I seen performers like Tyler, the Creator, Doechii, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars just give their all while performing and ensuring that their audience witnesses a great show. One of my desires is to be able to do the same thing and put on a good show. On top of that I wish to start doing more such as locking in with creating more music, working with more people, and just figuring out my sound. I also want to spend some of my free time just being creatively productive. So some days I might be at the park just randomly and privately mixing a DJ set other days I might put together a video produced by myself. I want this year to be a stepping stone for future endeavors and I want to take the people who believed in me up with me when that happens. Again thanks to everyone who supported me, said my music is creative, or just fuck with my vision and I hope you all will be invested in my journey as Blue Haley.
