List of KND Supreme Leaders
The Kids Next Door is a global (later revealed to be universal) organization composed of children fighting for kids' rights against adult (and teen) oppression. Many rankings have been shown, but the highest we've seen so far is the Supreme Commander. The Supreme Commander has the final say on the missions and rules the KND follows. They can also create and enforce new rules unchallenged if necessary, as shown when Father, despite technically being over 13, made a rule to no longer decommission supreme leaders, which everyone had to follow (at Numbuh 362’s insistence). They are in charge of coordinating the sectors and their missions effectively, as well as contacting and working with teen operatives. It is also tradition for them to swear in new cadets officially as Kids Next Door operatives. As Supreme Leaders, they are also allowed access to top-secret knowledge within the organization's secrets that only high-ranking individuals or trusted operatives are allowed access to. Despite being ultimately high-ranking on Earth, it is not considered a coveted role among operatives due to the amount of stress it carries, with no one having any real desire to take up that level of responsibility and paperwork. As such, a simple game of T.A.G.G. (Totally Gonna Get Got) is normally issued to decide who gets to be the next supreme leader, with very few willing to take the job. The game continues until 12 noon, after which the last person tagged will officially be inducted as the Supreme Commander of the Kids Next Door.
Numbuh 0:
Numbuh 0 is the founder of the seventh age of the Kids Next Door and served as its leader. For reasons unknown (likely attributed to Grandfather wiping out all opposition), the Kids Next Door was nonexistent during the height of Grandfather’s rule, with only the Treehouse of Coolness and the Book of KND remaining; however, this all changed when Monty Uno and his cowardly brother Ben discovered the tree and the book. Inspired by the book, which contained the knowledge of the entire Kids Next Door organization, including how to construct treehouses and 2x4 technology for battle, Numbuh 0 used it as a reference to recruit many kids to his cause and finally defeat his oppressive father once and for all, liberating the entire world from his control. His future acts remain up in the air; however, he was considered a great icon enough to fall under legendary status. It can be safely assumed that Numbuh 0 had become a supreme commander of sorts as he began restoring the KND to its original glory. Eventually, Numbuh 0 was decommissioned and lived a humble life in Britain before moving to the United States of America when his only son was only 3 years old.
Numbuh 100:
A former supreme commander of the organization. Though we don’t know much about him other than the fact that he remained in that position when Numbuh’s 5 & 3 first joined the KND. It’s also strongly implied that his successor, Numbuh 274, was once his right-hand man before succeeding him. As of now, he remains peacefully decommissioned, with his whereabouts currently unknown.
Numbuh 274:
Numbuh 274 was once a member of the organization, having risen in the ranks and proving to be an extremely valuable and talented Kids Next Door operative, having been looked up to by many operatives, particularly Sector V and especially Numbuh 1. However, this had changed when Numbuh 274 turned 13; rather than accept his fate by stepping down as the role of supreme leader and leaving the Kids Next Door peacefully, Numbuh 274 instead hacked the systems and conspired to have anyone with knowledge of his 13th birthday decommissioned, leading to Numbuh 86 unknowingly doing his dirty work by wrongly decommissioning Sector V among other operatives (despite knowing she and Nigel were the same age). Numbuh 1 would later discover his plot and revealed his scheme, leading to Chad turning hostile, determined not to let the kids undo all of his hard work carrying the organization. Chad attempts to send the KND moonbase to the sun. This plot was fortunately foiled by Sector V, with Chad apprehended; however, the teen boy managed to escape decommissioning and became a Teen Ninja after being recruited by Cree, becoming one of the Kids Next Door’s most hated and dangerous enemies, as he possessed knowledge of their systems and traditions.
However, close to the end of the show, despite the many destructive plans that specifically targeted the KND, Chad would reveal that he is, in fact, still a Kids Next Door operative, having faked his betrayal and sacrificed his legacy with the KND because he had already been indicted in the Teens Next Door organization and was working with the teenagers as an undercover operative. Chad was actually working hard to get into a position higher than he originally had and had actually been conspiring with the Galactic Kids Next Door, intending to become an Earth representative of the organization, only to become frustrated and infuriated when they chose the blissfully unaware Numbuh 1 to serve as their representative (strongly implied to be due to his single-minded dedication to the KND and tendency to jump to outlandish conclusions, making him easily manipulated compared to the more open-minded Chad) thus Chad had thrown his legacy away in vain.
Numbuh 362:
Numbuh 362 is the current leader of the Kids Next Door organization, having taken the position shortly after Numbuh 274’s “betrayal”. Although a traditionalist at heart and a faithful Kids Next Door operative, her progressive way of doing things, as well as being a natural tactician, enabled her to be a great and beloved leader of the Kids Next Door. Numbuh 1 has even clarified that she had done more than Numbuh 274 or Numbuh 100, having stabilized the organization when no one else would after Chad had left.
Rachel is well aware of the stresses that come with the job, such as having to coordinate many sectors simultaneously as well as file paperwork, coordinate with teen operatives, and ensure that the bureaucracy is run in tip-top shape, all done in the Moonbase where she also resides. Before becoming supreme commander, Rachel was once a field operative being a high-ranking operative specializing in espionage being regarded as the best spy in the KND. Despite having established friendships with Numbuh 1 and his team, Rachel is not above scolding them for failure to follow orders or complete assignments. At some point, Numbuh 362 would step down from her position, and Numbuh 5 would succeed her.
Mandy:
Though not an official Kids Next Door operative, and the special itself not being officially canon. Mandy had once taken over the Kids Next Door while masquerading as Numbuh 1. She successfully manipulated and convinced everyone (sans Numbuh 5) that she is Numbuh 1 despite the obvious signs that she isn’t. After having Numbuh 5 sent down to the Med Lab for observations under the claim that she has a virus planted by the adults. She successfully manipulates Numbuh 362 (and most likely disposes of her and has her sent down to the Med Lab when she figures out that she’s not Numbuh 1) into developing changes around the Moonbase (and the treehouses on Earth) to resemble her, as well as having all the Kids Next Door operatives wear her clothes and hairstyles. She even made them start using the name Mandy in their Numbuhs (ex., Mandy Numbuh 1) and weapons and ships stylized in her likeness.
By the time Mandy’s affiliate, the Grim Reaper and the real Numbuh 1 both allied together and arrived at the Moonbase it had been completely taken control of the Kids Next Door, renaming it Mandy New Dictator and declaring her plans to utilize the Kids Next Door’s army and advanced technology to rule the world having locked up or otherwise disposed of any threats to her plan and being aware that neither Grim nor Numbuh 1 can stop her on their own. After sending the 2 to prison, Mandy gets a distress call about a monster attack… the monster in particular was The Delightful Reaper, a giant reaper-like entity in possession of Grim’s scythe. Immediately deducing her best friend and neighbor Billy to be the cause of this, she recruits Numbuhs 3 & 4 to pilot the M.A.N.D.R.O.B.O.T. to its location with intent to destroy it. Despite putting up an epic fight, the M.A.N.D.R.O.B.O.T. was defeated (partly because the lasers that were originally intended for the mech was sent to the bratwurst factory and replaced with mustard) only spared due to a timely intervention from Numbuh 1 & Grim (also fused into the Samurai Reaper). When the 2 Reapers reach a stalemate, the M.A.N.D.R.O.B.O.T. recovers and, rather than help the Samurai Reaper, Mandy allows the Reaper to cut the mech down, allowing her (and by extension Numbuhs 3 & 4) to assimilate into it, effectively taking control of it and becoming the Mandy Reaper. Before she could destroy the Samurai Reaper, however, a timely intervention by Billy’s dad, Harold, managed to expose the Reaper’s weak spot, allowing the Samurai Reaper to destroy it, releasing all the kids it assimilated. With that, Mandy was exposed as an imposter, and all of her changes to the Kids Next Door were quickly undone by Numbuh 1, Grim, and Numbuh 362. Mandy was also arrested for her crimes against the KND (and humanity as a whole), but she escaped custody, and with 2 rocket boosters in her hair, she flew away, swearing revenge.
Numbuh 5:
Numbuh 5 is the future leader of the Kids Next Door organization, becoming supreme leader months after Numbuh 1 departs from Earth to join the Galactic Kids Next Door. Originally, she was the leader of Sector V, having been the leader before its current iteration; however, she had stepped down after a mission involving Numbuh 1’s permanent baldness and the Delightful Children from down the lane, and became its second-in-command as well as team spy. She expressed distaste over being a leader and making the same mistake again by failing her team. When Numbuh 1 leaves the team for GKND, he appoints Abby as leader, giving her his prized sunglasses as a gift. With her friend’s confidence in her restoring her own self-confidence, Numbuh 5 would ascend in rankings before eventually becoming the supreme leader. While most of her actions after ascending to the position remain unknown, her very first and notable decision as Supreme Commander was ordering an immediate decommissioning of Numbuh 363 (Numbuh 362’s little brother), not because he was over 13 but because he would have explosive outbursts in response to being touched, which was too much of a liability for the organization to handle.
